global_colors_info=&#8221;{%22gcid-70ff693f-6f97-4074-be90-9adb196c4afe%22:%91%22header_3_text_color%22,%22header_3_text_color%22,%22header_2_text_color%22%93}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>At the time of the implementation of RE2020, the Ministry of Ecological Transition created a Default Environmental Declaration (DED), which makes it possible to account for Deckenventilatoren in new building projects.<\/p>\n<p>Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) specialists noted at the time that this datasheet was not very favorable: with 136 kg CO<sub>2<\/sub>eq<a href=\"#_edn1\" name=\"_ednref1\"><span>[i]<\/span><\/a>, Deckenventilatoren were not particularly valued in terms of carbon impact.<\/p>\n<p>For reference, <a href=\"https:\/\/base-inies.fr\/consultation\/infos-produit\/31637\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this datasheet is available here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As of March 2025, the Samarat is <strong>the very first branded Deckenventilator to obtain its own PEP ECOPASSPORT declaration<\/strong> (Product Environmental Profile) and have it published on the INIES database.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row module_id=&#8221;acv-dynamique&#8221; Bei diesem Ansatz werden Treibhausgasemissionen (THG) zeitlich gewichtet. Somit hat eine Emission zu Beginn des Lebenszyklus eine h\u00f6here Auswirkung als eine sp\u00e4tere Emission.<\/p>\n<p>Tats\u00e4chlich vergleicht die statische \u00d6kobilanz, die auf der einfachen Summierung der in den Datenbl\u00e4ttern enthaltenen Werte basiert, Daten unterschiedlicher Art und Dauer: So basiert die DED des Ministeriums f\u00fcr \u00f6kologische Transformation auf einer Referenznutzungsdauer (RND) von 15 Jahren, w\u00e4hrend die PEP <span>ECOPASSPORT<\/span> des Samarat eine RND von 17 Jahren ber\u00fccksichtigen.<\/p>\n<p>Ein Geb\u00e4ude wird im Rahmen einer regulativen RE2020-\u00d6kobilanz als 50 Jahre langlebig betrachtet. Die im Rahmen der RE2020 angewandte dynamische \u00d6kobilanz ergibt einen gesamten CO<sub>2<\/sub>-Fu\u00dfabdruck von 383 kg CO<sub>2<\/sub>eq f\u00fcr die DED des Ministeriums f\u00fcr \u00f6kologische Transformation. Im Jahresdurchschnitt \u00fcber den gesamten Bewertungszeitraum entspricht dies 7,7 kg CO<sub>2<\/sub>eq f\u00fcr diesen Deckenventilator<a href=\"#_edn3\" name=\"_ednref3\"><span>[iii]<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Auf derselben Grundlage verursacht der Samarat ohne LED insgesamt 77 kg CO<sub>2<\/sub>eq, also 1,5 kg CO<sub>2<\/sub>eq im Jahresdurchschnitt.<\/p>\n<p>Beim Samarat mit LED (unter Ber\u00fccksichtigung beider PEP <span>ECOPASSPORT<\/span>-Datenbl\u00e4tter) ergibt sich ein Gesamtwert von 142 kg CO<sub>2<\/sub>eq, also 2,8 kg CO<sub>2<\/sub>eq im Jahresdurchschnitt.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/www.brasseurs-air-re2020.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/figure-2-de-1.png&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{%22gcid-70ff693f-6f97-4074-be90-9adb196c4afe%22:%91%22header_3_text_color%22,%22header_3_text_color%22,%22header_2_text_color%22%93}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>Thus, in dynamic LCA, the Samarat emits <strong>almost 5 times less CO<sub>2<\/sub> over the regulatory service life of a building<\/strong> than the default Deckenventilator presented on the INIES database!<\/p>\n<p>However, as explained below, <strong>impacts related to the use phase (Module B) are considered zero in the Ministry\u2019s DED<\/strong>, which gives it a significant advantage in both dynamic and static LCA totals!<\/p>\n<p>RE2020 carbon thresholds are becoming increasingly stringent as of 2025, and will be further tightened in 2028 and 2031<a href=\"#_edn4\" name=\"_ednref4\"><span>[iv]<\/span><\/a>. As a result, providing low-emission equipment to project owners has become an essential challenge, contributing to the overall economic balance of a project.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_image src=&#8221;https:\/\/www.brasseurs-air-re2020.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/figure-4-de.jpg&#8221; It is not based on data from the PEP <span>ECOPASSPORT<\/span> declaration. Instead, it is derived from the RE2020 energy calculation and converted according to the CO<sub>2<\/sub> mix of electricity in France; it is included in the IC Energy indicator<a href=\"#_edn6\" name=\"_ednref6\"><span>[vi]<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that in the Ministry of Ecological Transition\u2019s DED, Module B is assigned a zero value, which is not the case in the Samarat PEP <span>ECOPASSPORT<\/span> declarations.
